  • A shallow tray. Simply reuse the plastic clamshells leftover from your previous blueberry or raspberry purchase to construct the trays. Make sure the bottom is pierced with holes. Wood flats or boxes can also be repurposed.
  • Fill the trays with organic soil.
  • Broccoli seeds. Ordinary seeds may be used to make microgreens. Thus no special seeds are required. Keep in mind that, if at all feasible, you should purchase high-quality organic seeds. This will also verify that they are non-GMO.

How To Grow Broccoli Microgreens At Home.

  1. Place your soil in the trays when it has been prepared. As much as possible, make sure your soil is even. To ensure that the soil is flat and free of depressions, you can use your hand or something with a straight edge, such as a ruler or cardboard.
  2. Start sowing your seedlings. Larger seeds can be put deeper into the soil. On the other hand, Smaller seeds can be distributed around the land and then covered with a thin layer of dirt. Approximately 18 inches will do. Microgreens may be grown by sowing seeds extremely close together.

  5. When the first mature leaves develop on the plant, microgreens are ready to harvest. The first thing you’ll notice are seed leaves. These are the first leaves that appear 4-6 days after planting. Around 10-14 days after planting, true mature leaves emerge after the seed leaves.
  6. Harvest the microgreens by cutting them as near the soil as possible and eating them!
  7. After each harvest, you’ll need to transplant other seeds. If you have compost, don’t forget to toss the old roots there.
